Ok I am back. I finally got around to editing some photos last night, and took a few more today so I'm good to resume regular posting. 

To start you off, here is Adria Pawlikowski rocking a fantastic sheepskin vest. She's one of my oldest friends and certainly one of the steaziest ski girls out there. Despite severing her ACL and MCL after landing a jump wrong two years ago, she moved to Utah and has been back on the mountain. Motivated, courageous, sassy, fresh. Etc. Nickname: Kiki. Curious? 

Negligence

I'm sorry I've been so negligent recently; I moved from Vermont back to New York and haven't had time for  much of anything aside from getting my life in order. I still don't have time, but here are a few photos that are not mine that I enjoy immensely. I have a weakness for green, winter color, and patterned wallpapers, so please enjoy! I'll be back here with more of my own stuff soon. 

It's below zero here in the Northeast and there is another blizzard coming in the next couple of days (maybe). I love dressing up cozy for winter but I'm starting to get tired of scraping off my car and covering every outfit in layers of knits and scarves. Not that that's not a perfectly acceptable look...

I had a snow day from work today; after an appointment the roads were so bad I could not get to the office. Or get home, in fact; I also could not make it up the mountain to my house because of the snow. I holed up in the village of Richmond and visited some old, small town friends that I've known forever. Not being recognized in my own hometown is a strange feeling, but it happens more often than not now. Such is life, always moving forward.

It's ironic that I have been on an extended trip to Vermont for a month, and meanwhile my home in New York has gotten buried in snow. As a wink to friends south of here who are yet again getting buried tonight, here is some snow from a hike I took a couple of weeks ago. The blue hues are so beautiful.
