Soon we embark on a 17 hour drive to Chicago

In two days I am driving out to Chicago again for some informational interviews for my career and to go to Lollapalooza. 17 hours straight through. GAH. But. Great music! The Strokes! Gaga! The xx! Can't wait! Here are a few shots from our trip out earlier in the summer; my job flew me out and put us up in a lovely hotel. We bopped all around the city with our Couch Surf host Rob, professional sax-player extraordinaire, to hip little bars, Mexican thrift shops, and soul/funk clubs. We had a great time and I can't wait to get back to see more of the city! Photos to follow, as usual. 

On the Sound

Earlier in the summer I took a trip down to see my favorite partner in adventure, Kelsea, who is currently living on the coast of CT before jetting off to live in London to work for Parliament for several months. There's never been a questions whether we could keep up with one another or not, that's for sure! We had a great time on the beach with Frisbee and beach-tub, pictured below. Passerby's were jealous, let me tell you!
