Headshots, Kari Grunberg

Happy Sunday! I realized that I haven't really posted much of anything from the second day of shooting with my friend Kari Grunberg. Day one was the outdoor shoot at the orchard, and day 2 was an in-studio shoot. We had two foci: headshots for her auditions on Broadway (she's really fabulous), and photos for my year-long Versions of Self project. Here are a few of the headshots, and I'll post some of the Versions over the next couple of days. 

In other news, my house has no heat. Thrilling, its 58 degrees inside. Oh the joys of living in a big beastly Victorian house! 

Haunted Shoot, Behind the Scenes

So here's a final shot from the haunted shoot we did a couple of weeks ago. This is a behind the scenes shot by Nick Bastile of me showing my model Anna how creepy I wanted her. She got it right away and then we took a few shots of "sitting down for dinner" together. Lots of fun! Happy Halloween...what are you being? I'll give you a hint about mine; two nights, two different ways to rock.

Mike and Ted are my best friends from Vermont. They are lovely and deserve to be highlighted.

Zombie Attack

Last week I did a photo shoot with my German photographer friend Roberto and a whole bunch of photographers through HVClick, a local professional association. We were given models, hair and makeup artists, and let loose on a haunted house for 5 hours. Here are a few of my model Sam, who did a mean possessed eye roll. We had a blast, more photos to come. 

Apple Orchard Photo Shoot

The talented Kari Grunberg came up to visit me from NYC this weekend. We have had a fabulous time catching up, and yesterday went to Apple Hill Farm in New Paltz, NY for a rural photo shoot with one of my regular subjects, Laura. As a singer, dancer, and actress at NYU, Kari has fabulous presence and a great style. We had a blast at the shoot, as you can see. Plus the apples were delicious. 

Today, we did a studio shoot. It was perfection. Photos to come, so check back soon. :)

Downtown Hudson Fall

The second of two shoots I did this weekend was a lovely little afternoon set-up by the river with four models who love to rock and jock that downtown cool. Put them on a set of railroad tracks and abandoned cement steps in the middle of the woods, and you have this shoot. Here's a little preview. Enjoy.
