Over the last few months, I've had the pleasure of working with the General Motors team to do some really creative work. For the projects, they lent me a car and said, "Go forth and create as you live your life!" I was encouraged to work on a project and then blog about it for their site "Drive the District," which highlights influencers who use their cars. For the first trip, my partner Martin Swift and I drove our Eco Cruze up to Vermont and then down through the Hudson Valley for an adventurous week-long road trip. The photo essay, entitled "Retracing Home", detailed my journey to revisit some of my favorite old haunts and share them with Martin. The tensions created by juxtaposing new relationships with old memories drove the project and allowed me to portrat each location with fresh perspective.
You can see the feature HERE and the whole project on my site HERE.
