One of my favorite parts of running my own business is the opportunity to co-work, collaborate, and support fellow female entrepreneurs. When my friend Katalina Mayorga came to me with an idea for a travel company that sends professional photographers on curated small group trips off the beaten track, I LOVED it. A year later and IT'S ALL HAPPENING! Katalina launched El Camino with travel photographer Marianna Jamadi last year, and the two have been going gangbusters kicking butt ever since.
I had the honor of being their first guest photographer last month on a week long adventure to Nicaragua. The guests surfed at remote beaches outside San Juan del Sur, wandered through the colorful streets of Granada, fished with locals, and ate FABULOUS food. The trip was led by a fun and savvy guide named Mark, and I took photos all along the way.
