This summer Chevy commissioned me to shoot a lifestyle editorial of Meredith Sheperd, the owner of urban gardening company Love and Carrots. She's a rad #ladyboss who owns a successful business complete with work teams, a variety of clients, and the ability to play in the dirt whenever she pleases. I love how she shares her passion for organic local food by giving people the tools to grow their own!
We have mutual friends and a shared love of Vermont so we had lots to talk about during our relaxed sunrise shoot. Her charming pooch was the perfect sidekick as we captured images of her working using the Silverado (which I rented and drove through DC hilariously feeling like a Mac truck driver compared to driving my little car...it was awesome). We did the whole shoot just the two of us with an hour of magic summer light...sometimes the most simple shoots are the most fulfilling.
