Cuddles! Yay!
The final Mom Crush I photographed for Washingtonian Mom Magazine is Kathy E. Hollinger. Kathy is the president and chief executive officer of the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW). Love all those new restaurants on 14th street? Me too! Kathy is at the forefront of it; as president she acts as an advocate for our region’s booming restaurant scene.
Kathy grew up playing backgammon with her family and community, so we shot them playing the traditional game together.
Our shoot with her and her son Bijan was laid back and fun. He's a regular renaissance man, with interests in writing, music, art, and lots of things in between! He very nicely introduced me to his stuffed giraffe, showed me how he plays the guitar, and and loved showing me his antique typewriter. After a fun afternoon with lots of laughs, Kathy and Bijan sent me on my way with a yummy a black and white cookie for the road. Thank you to them for a great time!
