Personal Work: Najva

April 22, 2014

I'm excited to share this quick natural light portrait session I did with NYC-based fashion designer Najva Sol of Vaunt & Sol. We met at the preview party for the National Portrait Gallery's new exhibit, 'Face Value' (which is fabulous) through a mutual artist friend and I asked her to stop by my studio for a quick portrait session the next morning. Since she had a bus to catch, I agreed to pick her up and drop her off, allowing about 15 minutes for us to shoot. I popped the seamless up in the front room with north-facing bay windows (SWOON, Avedon light). We had a blast and scooted off to her train right on time.

Enjoy!
