Grace With Age

Here is a three-photo series I shot of an anonymous woman in the vestibule of the Corcoran. She was leaving as I was stationed underneath an ongoing performance photographing it, and I just couldn't keep from taking her picture. From her glasses to her perfectly tousled snow white hair, she came off as a wonderful example of how to age gracefully. I think she's beautiful. Style is not about who you're wearing, it's who you are and how you show that to the world. She is a great example of just exactly that.

The light in these just makes me swoon. I really like the sequence of photos as well: surprise at me taking her picture, resignation, and finally a small crack of a smile. So nice!
