I may have forgotten my camera when I attended the Real Demigods' warehouse fashion show a couple of weeks ago, but last night got to head back over to the Wonderbox studio warehouse to photograph their mural before it comes down. Working only with the lighting we found in the space, I set up a shoot with the artist in about 5 minutes. Of course, my camera was nearly dead when we started (isn't that always the case in these crazy cool scenarios??) so we were racing against the clock and failing technology to get a few shots off. We did, and I'm pretty pleased with the final product...not bad for 10 minutes of work!
I (almost) think that way is better; the circumstances were so manic that the frenetic pace of the actual shoot was perfect.
I'm going to be working on some rad projects with these guys over the next couple of months, so keep an eye out.
