I was introduced to designer Kathryn Zaremba in late spring and we immediately hit it off. Kindred spirit lady creatives unite! Over coffee, she outlined she'd been dreaming of a project that brought her patterns to life in a short stop motion film and I jumped on board to help. Together with her sister Laura Wimer, a creative director for an ad agency, we plotted and planned a huge multi-day shoot.
Kathryn's team made objects out of paper for months. We rigged things up with fishing line, tethered equipment to 14 foot ladders, cut paper until we all had blister hands. It was TOTALLY WORTH IT. Creative wildness ahoy! Nothing feels better than making things with friends.
With original music by the talented Andrew Dost of a little band you might be familiar with called Fun. we are PUMPED to share the final film with you. Check it out below, followed by my favorite stills. We had a BIG BEAUTIFUL TEAM help with a bajillion things, so peep the full credits at the bottom of the post.
