It's been a crazy month of shoots and lots of travel doing projects for Leica and General Motors (whee!) but I'm finally back in DC. I have thousands of photos to edit, copy to write and videos to edit. So inspiring! While I process all that I wanted to share a little project really quickly.
I love getting dressed and expressing myself through style, so when the award-winning firm Design Army asked to feature my style in D/CITY, a newspaper by the Louis at 14th project focused on 14th Street, I was excited. Of course, I overpacked and brought 5 pairs of shoes, 8 lipstick options, various pants and tops and dresses - wildness! Their photographer Sebastian Marin ended up shooting exactly what I arrived in, naturally. Ha! Striped socks with prints on prints on prints in layers of breezy silk separates - definitely elements of my summer uniform! I've since cut off my hair but wanted to share these photos anyway. You can pick up a copy of D/City in the 14th/U Street areas of NW Washington, DC.
Many thanks to the Design Army team for featuring my style.
